Violet Voss "Like A Boss" Palette

Here's the tea about Violet Voss' "Like A Boss" palette...IT IS AMAZING.

Last week I purchased the palette so I could give you guys a thorough and honest review. The packaging already was astonishing. It was a simple palette type package but with bright colors and holographic tones.

The palette comes with 20 shades ranging from mattes to shimmers or metallics if you want to get technical. This palette has more of a cool toned, but flashy dynamic. The colors are pigmented and apply smoothly. I would say the colors are not creamy, but in between creamy and chalky. To me that's the best kind of texture; Especially working with mattes.

The palette retails for $45 at Sephora and on Violet Voss' website. That is a fair price for a great quality palette like this.

Now let's get to the cons shall we? I only have a couple cons with this palette which are not as big as they seem. Con numero uno is the metallic shades are very sensitive. What I mean by that is they can have a bit of fall out. But that can be easily fixable if you dampen your brush a bit. Con numero dos is I wish the cool toned browns were a little more pigmented. But that problem might be, because I am African American and should use a lighter concealer for the eye base. That is all the cons I have. Other than that, this palette is stellar.
